We will hone our 5 senses as we enjoy the company of others and the scenic beauty of the Colorado Rockies! In the journey of recovery from substance use disorder, exploring unconventional paths is crucial. A 5 senses walk offers transformative healing by engaging sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell, fostering mindfulness and aiding in recovery.
Head out on this 4.0-mile loop trail near Conifer, Colorado. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 30 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, cross-country skiing, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.
-Snow Shoes will not be provided but we’ve partnered with Mountain Side Gear Rental for discounted snow shoe rental. $17 per day.
-Snacks, water, and glove warmers will be provided.
-This is a free sober event (other than snow shoe rentals).
-Exciting Gear Raffle at the end of the hike! Raffle tickets will be provided to those who register and attend.
-Unfortunately our furry friends need to stay home.
