How to Apply for the Sober Outdoors Scholarship Program and What to Expect

Step 1: Complete the Application Form

  • Visit the Sober Outdoors Scholarship Program page and fill out the application form. This form includes questions about your current journey, financial need, preferred events, and other ways we can support you.

  • Be as detailed and honest as possible so we can understand your unique situation and goals.

Step 2: Submit Your Application

  • Once you’ve filled out all sections, review your responses and submit your application. Double-check that your contact information is correct to ensure we can reach you.

Step 3: Confirmation of Application Receipt

  • Within 48 hours of submitting your application, someone from our team will reach out to confirm that we’ve received it. This message will let you know that your application is officially under review.

Step 4: Application Review Process

  • Our team will carefully review your application, taking into account various factors such as your need for support, financial situation, and how the scholarship aligns with your journey. Please note, as demand is high, we evaluate applications based on availability and fit with the program.

  • No immediate decision is guaranteed as we review all applications thoroughly to ensure fair consideration for everyone.

Step 5: Potential Follow-Up Questions

  • In some cases, we may reach out with additional questions to clarify your application or better understand your needs. This helps us make the best possible decisions on awards.

Step 6: Award Notification

  • If your application is approved, we will notify you of your award via email, along with any next steps for redeeming the scholarship and registering for events or services.

  • If we’re unable to offer a scholarship this round, we’ll let you know and keep your application on file for future opportunities.

Step 7: After Receiving the Scholarship

  • If awarded, we may ask for your feedback after the event or program to help us improve our scholarship program.

  • You are also welcome to stay connected with us and engage in the Sober Outdoors community through events, volunteering, or mentorship.

Important to Remember:

  • Due to a high volume of applications, we cannot guarantee every applicant will receive a scholarship. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to support as many individuals as possible.
