This Use of Proceeds Policy ("Policy") outlines how we allocate and manage the proceeds generated from sales, donations, and other revenue sources on our website, www.soberoutdoors.org, and affiliated platforms.
2. Definitions
Proceeds: All funds received from sales, donations, sponsorships, and other revenue-generating activities.

Net Profits: The remaining funds after all Operational Costs have been deducted from the total Proceeds.
3. Allocation of Proceeds
3.1. Donation to Individuals for Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Commitment: All Net Profits will be donated to individuals who require critically expensive treatment for Substance Use Disorder and addiction recovery.
Purpose: To provide financial assistance for medical treatments, rehabilitation programs, therapy sessions, and other necessary support services.
Selection Process: Recipients will be chosen based on predefined criteria assessing need and urgency, ensuring fairness and impact.
3.2. Contribution to 1% for the Planet
Commitment: We pledge to donate 1% of our total annual sales to environmental nonprofits through the 1% for the Planet organization.
Purpose: To support global environmental initiatives focused on sustainability, conservation, and ecological restoration.
Verification: Donations will be documented and verified in accordance with 1% for the Planet's guidelines.
3.3. Tree Planting Initiative with Sprout, Inc.
Commitment: For every item purchased, we will facilitate the planting of one tree via Sprout, Inc.
Purpose: To promote reforestation, combat climate change, and support biodiversity.
Tracking: Tree planting activities will be tracked and reported, providing transparency on the environmental impact.
4. Operational Costs
Scope: Operational Costs include but are not limited to rent, utilities, staff salaries, technology, marketing, legal fees, and other necessary expenses to maintain organizational functionality.
Efficiency: We are dedicated to minimizing Operational Costs to maximize the funds available for our charitable commitments.
Review: Operational expenses are reviewed regularly to ensure they are essential and cost-effective.
5. Transparency and Reporting
Annual Reports: We will publish an annual report detailing the allocation of Proceeds, including amounts donated and Operational Costs incurred.
Financial Statements: Audited financial statements will be made available to the public upon request.
Accountability: We uphold strict accounting practices to ensure all funds are used in accordance with this Policy.
