Story Hour with Jason Kaylor
Integrity, Recovery, and Finding Purpose in the Backcountry

📅 Date: January 16, 2025
🕖 Time: 7:00 PM MST
📍 Where: Virtual (FREE!)

Join us for an unforgettable evening with Jason Kaylor as he shares his transformative journey of recovery and the backcountry adventures that reshaped his life. Jason’s story began in Durango, CO, where he got clean in 2008, serving out a probation sentence by working in the rugged Weminuche wilderness on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. It was there he discovered the power of integrity and self-care, laying the foundation for a life devoted to healing and purpose.

Since becoming a professional wilderness guide in 2011, Jason has worked with therapeutic and civilian groups across the Southwestern U.S., South America, and the Caribbean. Along the way, he’s embraced outdoor recreation, music, and meditation—all fueled by a mission to inspire positive intentions for both humanity and the planet.

Jason’s story will be about an hour long, followed by 15–30 minutes of open Q&A and discussion, giving you the chance to connect, share reflections, and explore the ways his journey resonates with your own.

Sober Outdoors is thrilled to host Jason for this free virtual event, and we know he’s just as excited to connect with our Community.
